Signing & Authenticating Financial Transactions

Below we detail the three basic steps required in order to electronically sign and authenticate financial transactions using MiniKey. With MinKey5 you can also encrypt, validate and digitally sign your e-mails, documents and transactions.

Step 1 of 3: MiniKey Installation

First download a 6MB self-extracting file that will take you through a step-by-step wizard to install MiniKey drivers on your local computer. 

This installation is CryptoKit 3.4 demo version.

At the end of the installation you will be able to use the MiniKey token to sign electronic transactions, such as fund transfers.

Before starting the installation please confirm the following:
1. Your PC has a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port.
2. You are working with IE 5.0 or above.
3. You are working with Windows 98 or above.
4. You have a MiniKey 5 token.

Once the installation is complete simply insert the MiniKey device into the USB port as instructed.

Step 2 of 3: Generate Certificate

Enroll online for a valid digital ID - this stage was designed to protect  you from any unauthorized entry.

Use the MiniKey token to generate an RSA key pair and certificate, which will be used later for authentication and electronic signature purposes

Step 3 of 3: Transfer Funds Form

Use your electronic ID with MiniKey to authenticate a secure server and to electronically sign a fund transfer form.
