Welcome to CoSign Digital Signature demo for Microsoft Office Excel 2003.

Once CoSign is installed, a digital signature toolbar appears in the menu. In the following scenario, a leave request form was completed and signed by an employee and emailed to Lisa Harris (his manager) for approval. Having read the form, Lisa decides to start by verifying the document's authenticity. She right-clicks on the signature to validate it. And she selects Validate. She sees that the signature is valid. After adding her comments, Lisa right-clicks on the signature field to sign the form. She selects Sign. The document has been signed by both the employee and the manager. Now let's see what happens when someone alters the employee section after it has been signed. We will change the Type of Absence from "Vacation" to "Sick." And we will change the Reason for the Absence. Now, if we attempt to validate the signature, We can see the signature is no longer valid. Next, we will attempt to validate Lisa’s signature. We simply select validate, and we can see the signature is no longer valid.
