Do I have to restart after installing cosign?

Hello,

I tried looking for an answer for this one with no result,

I have a production server that has to work 24/7 and cannot, by any means turn it off

My server is windows 2003 based with office 2007 installed.

I want to know if after installing cosign ill have to reboot to make it work as it should or can it with without a reboot?

Hi Gustav ,

typiclly only when you preform uninstall operation of CoSign a reboot is required . a fresh install of the CoSign client will not require you to reboot your machine\server .

What happens if the installation asks me for a restart, Can I just ignore it?

Hi Gustav ,

like i said before , a fresh installation will not require you to reboot your server . the only scenario that may require a reboot may happen if you are missing certain printer drivers and choose to install the OmniSign printer in this case
a reboot is needed but this is not a common issue and will not happen in most cases .
