Digital Signatures for TIFF Viewer
Welcome to the CoSign Digital Signature demo for TIFF.
There are two ways to sign a TIFF document.
CoSign provides out of the box support for TIFF by creating a signed PDF output.
Or, Using SAPI toolkit, you can modify any TIFF viewer to add signature and verification services to a TIFF document.
In this particular demo, we will show digital signatures for TIFF with a signed TIFF output.
We are using X360 Tiff Image Processing Active X Control 5.4.
CoSign provides interfacing options that include an API (Application Program Interface) known as SAPI® (Signature API) and SAPI Web Services.
SAPI is a signature-centric set of functions programmers can use to easily enhance their applications with digital and graphical signatures, without requiring previous knowledge and experience with public-key cryptography.
Using a dental insurance application, we will demonstrate how CoSign allows organizations to experience the true benefits of a fully electronic workflow by automating signature-based approvals.
ABC Online is applying for a corporate dental plan. The benefits administrator receives a multi-page TIFF document for the CEO’s approval.
Sarah Reynolds, the CEO, reviews the TIFF application and decides to approve it.
She clicks the Sign button.
And she uses her mouse to create the signature field.
Sarah is challenged for her user name and password.
And the document is digitally signed and sealed using CoSign.
Sarah’s graphical signature, title, company name, date and time, and reason for signing may also be displayed.
Furthermore, the signature may be validated by selecting the Verify button.
The signature is valid, and the document has not been modified since the signature was applied.
CoSign creates a self-contained electronic record that preserves signer identity, intent and data integrity, resulting in a digital signature that is sustainable over time and corporate boundaries, even after the signer is no longer with the organization.
CoSign works seamlessly with TIFF and all other major document formats, including Microsoft® Word, Excel®, Outlook®, InfoPath®, Adobe® PDF, and many more…
CoSign keeps your business moving and makes it easy for business to be done electronically from anywhere. Thank you for viewing the demo.
