Gadi Aharoni

Gadi Aharoni

CEO

Dr. Aharoni has served as the CEO of ARX since 2001. He led the MBO of ARX from Cylink Corp (later SafeNet NASDAQ:SFNT) in 2001, turning ARX into a successful and profitable privately-held company providing digital signature solutions. Prior to assuming the position of CEO at ARX, Dr. Aharoni spent three years holding various senior management positions at Cylink's Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

In 1996, Dr. Aharoni co-founded Orcast, which developed a conditional-access system for digital-television broadcasting. Prior to this, Dr. Aharoni held a number of engineering positions at companies in the UK and Israel.

Dr. Aharoni holds a MEng degree in Computing from Imperial College of Science and Technology, UK, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

 
Ilan Patashnik

Mr. Patashnik brings more than 10 years of management experience to his position as Chief Operating Officer for ARX. He is responsible for ARX's Professional Services group, Information System Team, Customer Support department, and Manufacturing Division.

As an officer in the IDF, Mr. Patashnik held the position of Software Infrastructure Department Manager, in which he simultaneously managed several development teams. He has played a large role in ARX’s success as Director of the Professional Services department, where he supervises the development of tailor-made projects.

Mr. Patashnik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, and an M.B.A. from Ben-Gurion University, Israel.

 

Yair Itzhaki

Mr. Itzhaki's multiple responsibilities include introducing innovative and cutting-edge technologies to ARX's R&D team, developing some of ARX's technology-intensive projects, and overseeing the hardware development projects of the company.

Mr. Itzhaki joined ARX in 1987 after completing his service as an officer in the IDF Communications Core. Among the growing list of his accomplishments are projects such as: a Pay-TV conditional-access system developed for Canal+ in France; a high-speed digital video encryptor; PrivateSafe, ARX's innovative SmartCard reader; an IPSec Hardware VPN; and many others. In 1996 he co-founded Orcast, a fully owned ARX subsidiary that developed a conditional-access system for digital-television broadcasting.

Mr. Itzhaki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

 

Irit Stern

CFO

Mrs. Stern is ARX’s Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the company’s financial matters. This includes financial reports in Israel and in the USA as well as employee salaries and social benefits.

Prior to joining ARX, Mrs. Stern was the CFO of Granit Sharon, a holding company that has holdings in six different companies focused on the entertainment business. Before working at Granit Sharon, Mrs. Stern was the CFO of Dyonon, a network of bookstores located on the campuses of leading universities in Israel such as Tel Aviv University, Beer Sheva University, and Bar Ilan University. In the '80's Mrs. Stern held several positions as an auditor and accountant in Somech - Haikin Accounting (Price Waterhouse Cooper Israel) and Cohen, Arnold & Co., an accounting firm in London.

Mrs. Stern serves as a director for Ludan, a Public Israeli engineering company, and is also a member of their auditing and balance committees. Previously, she served as a Director of Ayalon, one of Israel's biggest insurance companies.

Mrs. Stern holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Bar Ilan University, Israel, and an Israeli CPA certificate.

 

Ezer Farhi

VP of R&D

Mr. Farhi oversees the Research and Development of all ARX products, a challenge for which he draws upon more than 13 years’ experience in developing security and other technological products and applications. Mr. Farhi plays a critical role in creating, managing and delivering first-class products to market.

Prior to joining ARX, Mr. Farhi held the position of Team Leader in the Israeli Air Force. Before becoming VP of ARX’s R&D, he was responsible for the company’s PrivateWire team.

Mr. Farhi holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel.

 

John Marchioni

John Marchioni

General Manager & VP Business Development

Mr. Marchioni focuses on advancing the company’s objectives for market leadership through strategic partners.  He has over 25 years experience in US and International high-tech markets related to business-process automation and intellectual property licensing. Prior to ARX he held management positions with companies engaged in R&D and deployment of process-management and information-security solutions including: Microsoft, Retix and Burroughs-Unisys.

John was appointed Visiting Scholar for Informatics at UC Berkeley where his research focused on reducing friction in information processing. In addition, he is a member of the Security Council of the Gerson Lehrman Group. John is an accomplished speaker and has spoken at numerous industry and government conferences over the years.  He has also been a panel speaker for NSF at workshops on Grid Computing and the Cyber Infrastructure, and is a member of the advisory board of UCLA’s Center for Embedded Network Sensing (CENS).  Mr. Marchioni also served as Director of Technology Programs and Advisor at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation of San Francisco. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

Boaz Lantsman

VP Marketing

Mr. Lantsman is responsible for crafting ARX’s marketing strategy and overseeing its execution.

Mr. Lantsman is an experienced marketing professional, strategist and entrepreneur. Prior to joining ARX, he was CEO and partner at Sunrise Projects, a leading technology consulting firm that he led to market leadership and successfully sold to investors. Prior to this, Boaz was the VP of Marketing for PetNovations, the developer and manufacturer of hi-tech pet care commodity products. Before holding this position, Boaz was an innovation manager (internal entrepreneur) for Unilever Europe, where he was in charge of initiating and developing new products and services.

Boaz holds a BA in Business and Economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and an MBA from INSEAD, in Fontainebleau, France.

 

Rodd Schlerf

VP of Sales, Americas

Mr. Schlerf is responsible for the development and execution of CoSign sales and channel activities for the Americas.  In addition he is responsible for ARX strategy and delivery of CoSign into the FDA regulated markets.

Prior to joining ARX, Rodd was global director of EDC sales for WebMD from acquisition out of bankruptcy by VIPS through successful divestiture to ICTI.  Prior to this, Mr. Schlerf was director of sales for ELN start-up GenSys from pre-product launch through acquisition by Infotrieve.  Before holding these positions, Rodd managed the entrance strategy and execution for both Honeywell and Yokogawa into the US FDA regulated markets.

Mr. Schlerf holds a BS in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

 

Raanan Dahari

VP of Sales, EMEA

Mr. Dahari is responsible for driving ARX’s sales efforts in EMEA for the CoSign digital signature solution, and for the PrivateServer HSM product.

Before joining ARX, Mr. Dahari was a director at TesCom Software Testing (LSE:TSCM), managing a P&L unit and leading the company's global business activities for the life science market. Prior to this, he managed a sales team at GoldNet Communication Services, creating business partnerships with leading enterprises across various industries. While at GoldNet, Mr.Dahari also established a new business unit responsible for the financial market. Prior to this, Mr. Dahari managed the sales team at Applitech, a developer of medical grade video cameras.

In addition to holding various sales positions at different hi-tech companies, Mr. Dahari was also the co-founder of Multimedia Technology Development, a developer of Computer Aided Design Systems.

Mr. Dahari holds a Bachelor in Business (focus on marketing and financing) from the College of Management Tel-Aviv Campus, Israel.

 

Ari Seror

Director of Professional Services

Mr. Seror is responsible for Pre-Sales activities and for fulfilling unique requirements by ARX clients for customizing the company’s products, services and technologies. Mr. Seror is also in charge of the special development of tailor-made projects.

Before joining ARX, Mr. Seror served in the Israeli Air Force as a Software Engineer. From his first ARX position as a team leader in R&D, he moved to Technical Support Manager, responsible for overseeing preparation and follow-up for sales activities, and finally became Director of Professional Services.

Mr. Ari Seror holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bar Ilan University, Israel.
