ARX and TG Consulting Partner to Offer Electronic Signature Solutions for Xerox DocuShare

Pleasant Hill, CA - 14 September, 2006

Algorithmic Research (ARX), a leading worldwide provider of electronic signatures and data security solutions, today announced a partnership with TG Consulting, a provider of integrated document management software.

The partnership agreement will see TG Consulting resell ARX’s CoSign digital signature appliance to DocuShare customers looking for an integrated solution to electronically sign documents within applications such as Microsoft Word, InfoPath, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Using electronic signatures, these organizations may replace handwritten signatures, sealing documents with verifiable signatures as well as saving the costs and time associated with paper-based processes.

"With CoSign electronic signatures, any organization that is already using Xerox DocuShare can take the final step towards eradicating its paper-based business processes," says Gadi Aharoni, CEO of ARX.

"An organization will benefit simply by expediting its business processes. This includes speeding up the approvals process as well as securing the integrity of documents passing through the Xerox DocuShare system. This results in a low TCO, virtually zero management, zero logistic penalties and a speedy ROI," adds Aharoni.

"We have seen a growing customer demand for electronic signature solutions initiated both by legislation requirements as well as the need to save on time and costs related to printing, signing and mailing documents," says Thomas Gabel, Managing Director, TG Consulting. "Integrating internal and external partners in document-based processes, such as approval, review, confirming processes, and ensuring the speed and integrity of such processes has become a must in many industries."

Using electronic signatures ensures signer authenticity, data integrity and non-repudiation of documents managed within DocuShare. Compliance with worldwide legal and security regulations, such as the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 for the Bio and Pharma markets, HIPAA for the healthcare industry, and others, is also ensured. CoSign’s electronic signatures are based on standard Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), a mature and proven technology. "Complying with industry regulations is now a number one requirement for businesses worldwide," said Matthieu Chouard, Director, European Sales of Xerox. "The CoSign integration helps customers meet this critical need with DocuShare, and the TG Consulting partnership will now help deliver this capability to European customers through a trusted partner."

The seamless and deep integration of CoSign in DocuShare will be available from beginning of September 2006 and will be presented to the public at DMS Expo – Europe’s leading event for Enterprise Content and Document Management in Cologne, 19 – 21 September 2006 (Xerox booth:  Hall 8 F99;  ARX booth: Hall 8 A001).
