ARX Electronic Signature Invoice Solution Selected by Pazomat
Petach Tikva, Israel - March 15, 2006
Pazomat, the largest computerized fueling company in Israel, has taken delivery of an electronic invoice system secured by a electronic signature solution developed by Algorithmic Research (ARX), a leading worldwide provider of electronic signatures and data security solutions.
Information security solutions integrator, and ARX VAR, SecureNet, was selected by Pazomat to implement the deployment of the electronic invoice system - a first for the Israeli market.
Replacing the traditional paper invoice, ARX's solution allows Pazomat to issue electronic invoice files to customers using email, the contents of which are signed and sealed by an electronic signature instead of sending a paper invoice.
"The solution allows Pazomat to send receipts, invoices, credit notices and tax invoices to its customers via email instead of printing and sending them by snail mail," says Nir Gorman, IT Manager, Pazomat. "This will result in tremendous saving on costs and significantly enhance organizational efficiency for Pazomat.
"The electronic invoice system acts as an interface to Pazomat's back-end systems which are in turn linked to ARX's hardware appliance, allowing Pazomat to process and digitally sign the invoices automatically, finally sending them directly to the customer within an email," adds Gorman. "The ability to electronically receive accounting documents ensures the processing of data directly into our accounting system, saving us the costs of filing, archiving and storage."
"Our technology offers users the ability to ensure the data-integrity of any signed document as well as 3rd-party application support and provision for the non-repudiation of business processes," says Gadi Aharoni, CEO, ARX. "Boasting fast deployment and virtually zero management, our network-attached appliance is easy-to-use and tamper-proof."
"Deployment of the electronic invoice system for a company such as Pazomat, which handles tens of thousands of invoices a month, is a strong example of the benefits to be had from such a solution," says Avi Nagar, Securenet CEO.
Electronic invoicing solutions have become possible thanks to the approval given in the Israeli law by the tax authorities in 2003, to allow the use of electronic invoices provided they are sealed with advanced or qualified digital signatures by the issuer of the document.
