Algorithmic Research (ARX), a leading worldwide provider of electronic signatures and data security solutions, has implemented a CoSign-based eInvoicing solution for Maman Cargo Terminals and Handling LTT, a major member of the Maman Group.
With CoSign’s integrated electronic signature solution Maman can now generate their invoices in PDF or XML electronic formats. Standard electronic signatures will then be applied to the electronic versions of its hardcopy paper invoices, sealing them with legally-binding signatures as well as saving the costs and time associated with paper-based processes.
"As the sole operator of the cargo terminal at Ben Gurion Airport, Maman needs to be able to offer cost-effective, secure and efficient documentation, and fast and accurate billing and accounting, in accordance with Israeli VAT laws," says Ronit Lapid, IT Manager, Maman Cargo.
"Combining CoSign's electronic signatures with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), a mature and proven technology, ensures the signer authenticity, data integrity and non-repudiation of the thousands of invoices Maman handles monthly in its dealings with global airlines and local cargo agents and forwarders," says Ari Seror, Director of Professional Services, ARX. .
"Two new features in CoSign, BatchConvert and BatchSign, allow Maman to swiftly and easily process the many invoices it handles, while keeping the integration with the existing billing systems in Maman simple and non-intrusive," adds Seror.
"Triggered by the approval of the financial data, BatchConvert reads the financial information from SQL tables, then creates the appropriate PDF and XML files to send to BatchSign," he says. "They are then digitally signed by CoSign and published on Maman's secure Web site, or sent by e-mail or FTP to Maman's customers". |
