ARX Releases CoSign 3.1 Providing a High-Availability Electronic Signature Solution for the Enterprise

Pleasant Hill, CA - Nov 25, 2004

ARX, a world leader of electronic-signature solutions today announced the release of a major new version of CoSign, ARX’s flagship product. The new release includes a host of new features including supports of high-availability, enhancement of its user management capabilities, easy signature validation, and multi language support.

CoSign Version 3.1 now includes:

High-Availability

One of the key features of this new release of CoSign is support of a high-availability solution that provides redundancy & load balancing between multiple CoSign appliances. This feature ensures the availability of CoSign in case of a failure in one of the appliances as well as allows distributing workloads efficiently between multiple CoSign’s. Enterprises can now confidently implement CoSign’s digital signature technology in fault tolerance configuration and conduct high transaction volumes.

Enhanced User Management Capabilities

CoSign can now be installed in environments that do not include the standard user directories (e.g., Active Directory, Novell NDS). Customers can now opt to use CoSign’s own user- management tool or take advantage of a new API for synchronizing with an organization's existing user management system.

Easy Signature Validation

Users can now digitally sign Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional without installing a special plug-in. Similarly, CoSign 3.1 signatures are Word XP/2003 compliant and do not require the MS Word plug-in for the signature validation. These features enable external users to automatically and easily validate CoSign electronic signatures without the need for installing any software client.

Multi-Language Support

CoSign now supports foreign character sets and environment, allowing user names and other attributes to be in any language.

"This exciting new version of CoSign addresses the real-world needs of our enterprise customers who require a fault tolerant signing solution that can also support high volumes of electronic signatures," said Gadi Aharoni, CEO, ARX. ARX will continue to expand and enhance its electronic signature offerings and capabilities in order to support the growing demand for electronic signatures."
