ARX (Algorithmic Research), a leading provider of digital signature solutions (standard electronic signatures), has implemented the CoSign digital signature solution at PBMR, the internationally regarded leader in high-temperature reactor technology. The CoSign digital signature solution is allowing PBMR to increase the rate with which they can route documentation throughout their multi-continental organization.
Previous to PBMR's implementation of the CoSign digital signature solution, the organization relied on a paper-based workflow in order to acquire mandatory signature authorizations for company business processes such as system security change requests, procurement contracts, payment approvals, and human resources documents. With over 1,000 individuals involved in these processes, some of whom are based in Europe and the USA, using paper-based procedures restricted efficiency due to the amount of time it took to manually route documentation. By using the CoSign digital signature solution and alleviating its reliance on paper, PBMR saw an opportunity to improve its workflow and maintain improved electronic records of their documentation. Additionally, the use of the CoSign digital signature solution enabled a purely electronic workflow, improving document history tracking and reducing document loss.
"CoSign has proven to be easy to use and very effective," explained Nico Scholtz, Enterprise Information Solutions Manager, Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (Pty) Ltd. "It's a fact that documents that are digitally signed with CoSign are more secure than their paper equivalent."
Via the use of a terminal server and the internet, PBMR has provided its employees with additional access to CoSign, enabling them to digitally sign documents unconstrained by their location in the world. This capacity has further enhancing CoSign's ability to increase efficiency at PBMR.
"Pebble Bed Modular Reactor (Pty) Ltd.'s use of the CoSign digital signature solution provides another excellent study of the ease with which a digital signature can help an international organization seamlessly manage their electronic documentation," said Raanan Dahari, EMEA Sales Director, ARX.
