CoSign Digital Signatures Provide D-Trust with Innovative Solutions for Electronic Signatures

D-TRUST GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bundesdruckerei GmbH, situated in Berlin, today announced that it will be providing software products and workflow solutions from ARX, a leading provider of digital signatures (standard electronic signatures) and information assurance solutions. The partnership underscores D-Trust’s claim to integrate highly-secure and easy-to-use software solutions in PKI projects.

Additionally, the CoSign® product line will now support all D-TRUST signature cards and certificates, thus facilitating the flexible extension of paperless business processes, reducing costs and increasing security. CoSign works with all major applications and document formats, including Microsoft® Word, Excel®, Outlook®, Adobe® PDF, TIFF, AutoCAD®, InfoPath®, IBM® Lotus® Forms and many others.

Complimenting its digital signature capacity, CoSign also provides graphical signatures embedded into documents, along with the PKCS#7 digital signature block. Moreover, CoSign supports commonly used strong authentication devices, client and server software. These include RADIUS-based OTP systems, USB tokens, Smart cards, and Biometrics devices. Support for mobile devices and software-only authentication solutions will be announced soon.

In addition to the numerous satisfied customers from the realms of B2B and B2C all over the world, many international companies and authorities have implemented ARX CoSign technologies. Among recent customers are the Roman Senate, the Dutch Supreme Court, and Gas Natural.
