CoSign Digital Signatures Add Value to Innovative Staffing

ARX (Algorithmic Research), a leading provider of digital signature solutions (standard electronic signatures), has implemented a CoSign® digital-signature solution at Innovative Staffing, Inc., a Salt Lake City-based Professional Employer Organization (PEO).

As a PEO, Innovative Staffing manages the new hire documentation (including I-9, state and federal tax forms) and payroll administration for nearly 2,500 employees. In order to expedite the processing of hundreds of these HR documents monthly, Innovative Staffing created a web application that enables the new hires that they co-employee to electronically complete the necessary forms. Seeking to eliminate paper documentation from the workflow for signing purposes, Innovative Staffing determined that a digital signature solution would allow the employees to electronically sign the PDF documents created by their web form application. As the electronic records that were created needed to be portable between organizations and sustainable over time, Innovative Staffing only considered standards-based digital signature solutions using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology.

Innovative Staffing selected the CoSign digital signature system because in addition to being standards-based PKI technology, the technology is stored via a centralized server that automatically generates, securely stores, and manages individual user’s signing keys and certificates. Through CoSign's signature API (SAPI®), Innovative Staffing was able to integrate the CoSign digital signature solution quickly, providing employees with an extremely simple way to fill web forms and create digitally signed and sealed PDFs. CoSign's ability to keep Innovative Staffing's process entirely electronic has not only expedited the new hire process and saved the company (and clients) thousand of dollars and time.  It also provides Innovative Staffing with a competitive advantage in their marketplace.
